This caught my attention because it's an article discussing graphic design on the Web. Surely, these people know what they are talking about. I'm certain that it was their intention to have the spiral notebook image appear in the middle of the article. I guess someone didn't understand that a background image repeats to fill the size of the screen. Maybe there's a chapter on that in the article.
The spiral notebook graphic makes me think of high school. I guess they are trying to look academic. Doesn't quite do it for me. Maybe I need a denim covered binder graphic instead.
YIKES....... A whole new way to loose stuff in the gutter. WHOOPS!
